We’ll never forget asking for and receiving your blessing to name our own baby “Charles”. Charlie’s spirit will live forever in all who loved him. We are honored to be among that crowd.

I was so sorry to hear the news about Charlie. My prayers are with all of his family. My memories of him are from my first job(after college)at Roly’s(Castleton) in the early 70’s. My husband and I had an old Buick that worked most of the time. However sometimes I would have to lift the hood and pound on a part to get it going. One bitter cold night after work my car wouldn’t start. Charlie came out to the parking lot of the mall and helped me. I will never forget that! He was so kind and a gentleman!

Dear Cheri, Abigail, Charles and family:
We are truly saddened to hear of your loss. Charlie and I became friends at North Central High School and that friendship continued as we travelled across the U.S. over the years as golf buddies. I will always remember Charlie as a loyal and devoted friend. I also know what a wonderful son, husband and father he was. Joanie and I were fortunate to have known Charlie, and he will remain in hearts forever.

Dear Mr. and Mrs Lynn,
Dear Judi and John,
My prayers are with you at this difficult time for all off you. I know how acutely you will miss Charlie – we all would.
I hope that wonderful memories of him – his good-heartedness, his sense of humor and the style and class he bought to Roly’s and everyone’s life he touched – will in time, assuage the pain of losing him.
In sympathy,
Ophie

I have just learned of Charlie’s passing. There is some consolation that the fond and loving memories of a young man with whom I had an abiding and fortunate friendship seem to have followed him throughout his noble and exemplary life. Charlie was loyal, engaging, sunny and a joy to be around. He was the perfect friend. His animated sense of humor was contagious. I will never forget the comic routines he and Bruce Young did at the ATO house. He had amazing talent. He passes a proud and dignified legacy along to his family and children. I was so proud to call Charlie a friend.
Steve Holder says
My sympathy to Charlie’s entire family.
